| Southwest Brooklyn IDC advocates on behalf of local industrial and manufacturing businesses on a wide range of topics, including economic development policy, land use and rezonings, municipal projects, and any issues that could impact industrial business operations.
Some of the work that we have done in the past includes working with businesses to oppose the conversion of industrial property to residential, working with City agencies to create Industrial Business Zone boundaries, and redrafting Empire Zone boundaries to maximize industrial business participation.
